Hana Booboo 小花寶貝

Where the sweetness of a Japanese idol meets the strangeness of a magical girl — that is Hana Booboo.
The magic isn't only in the look. It comes from a continuing search through her own identity and the culture around her. As a queer performer she works across the edges of gender, folding queer imagination into the art so that the audience steps into the illusion with her and sees what else might be possible.
Her sets pull in divination, musical theatre, internet culture, the absurd, anime, gaming and J-pop idol performance, taking the audience along on a fantasy that only drag can stage.
